ARMANI & KITH turned the Agafay desert into a runway

Agafay has officially entered its fashion era.

Giorgio Armani and Kith brought their Dreams of the Dune presentation to the Agafay Desert near Marrakech, turning the landscape into a full runway set.

And visually, it was exactly as dramatic as it sounds.

Instead of a traditional fashion-week venue, the collection was presented against open desert, warm tones and huge empty space, making the location feel like part of the clothes rather than just a backdrop.

The collaboration mixes Armani’s polished tailoring with Kith’s streetwear influence, so the collection lands somewhere between classic luxury and something much more relaxed.

Think soft tailoring, neutral tones, layered silhouettes and pieces designed to feel expensive without looking too formal.

And Morocco is not only part of the show.

The campaign itself was also photographed in Marrakech, giving the whole collaboration a stronger local connection than the usual “brand flies in, takes photos, leaves” formula.

That is probably why this one feels more interesting than another celebrity-heavy runway.

The setting actually changes the mood of the collection.

Agafay’s textures, light and emptiness make everything feel cinematic.

It also continues a bigger trend of international fashion houses using Morocco as a visual reference point, whether through campaign shoots, desert locations or traditional craftsmanship.

This time, though, Morocco was not a little detail in the background.

It was the entire stage. The collection launches globally on October 16.

But honestly, the Agafay runway already did most of the work.
