Morocco’s national football team is preparing for its next international fixtures, with head coach Mohamed Ouahbi scheduled to announce his squad on Wednesday, November 4.
The announcement will take place at the Mohammed VI Football Complex at 11 AM, ahead of two Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Niger later this month.
The first fixture is scheduled for November 13 at Casablanca’s Mohammed V Stadium, while the second will take place on November 17 at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
The upcoming international window will provide another opportunity for the coaching staff to assess the team’s form, strengthen its preparations and consider the balance between experienced players and emerging talent.
The announcement also arrives as Morocco faces concerns over the availability of several players, including Ismael Saibari, who recently underwent ankle surgery following an injury sustained while playing for Bayern Munich.
His absence could influence the selection of attacking midfielders and create opportunities for other members of the squad.
Attention will also focus on whether the coach introduces new faces or maintains continuity with players selected for previous international matches.
For supporters, national-team announcements have become an important part of the football calendar, often generating discussions about performances at club level, player development and the direction of the squad.
However, the official list has not yet been released, and any names circulating before Wednesday’s announcement remain unconfirmed.
The selected players are expected to begin gathering for their training camp on November 9, ahead of the first fixture in Casablanca.
With two home matches scheduled, the November international window will give Moroccan supporters another opportunity to follow the Atlas Lions as they continue their qualification campaign.
